We’re looking for a full-time Kitchen Porter to join our team!
This role is key to ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and that every customer enjoys a high-quality experience. If you take pride in your work, pay attention to detail, and enjoy supporting a busy kitchen, we want you on our team!
About the Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and kitchen presentation, supporting the chefs and management team to deliver excellent food and service. You’ll be an important part of keeping our kitchen running efficiently and safely.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas at all times.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is clean, well-maintained, and presentable for staff, customers, and inspections.
- Report any damage or wear and tear to supervisors or managers promptly.
- Work alongside the chef to support a smooth, high-quality service.
- Complete the daily cleaning checklist and ensure all duties are signed off.
- Follow company policies on stock control, waste, deliveries, transfers, and health & safety.
- Support quality control procedures and contribute initiative and creativity in the kitchen.
- Adapt to new policies and procedures as introduced by management.
