The 5* Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate is currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter Supervisor.

· Supervise and organise the daily duties of the kitchen porter team while actively working within the operation

· Assign cleaning stations and specific tasks

· Provide hands-on support during busy service period

· Maintain clear communication with the Head Chef and Executive Sous Chefs

· Ensure kitchen floors, pot wash areas, storage rooms, fridges, and freezers are kept clean and sanitised

· Monitor dishwashing machines to ensure correct operation and temperature compliance

· Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all back-of-house areas

· Issue and monitor cleaning chemicals and supplies

· Ensure adequate levels of clean crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment for service and events

· Assist with set-up and breakdown of functions and banqueting equipment

· Follow all HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations

· Ensure safe handling of chemicals and equipment

· Be flexible with working hours to support business needs

· Orientate and train new Kitchen Porters.

Skills

A good level of Spoken English, pervious experience in a similar role
