About Us

The Ballsy Baker Limited is a growing food production business specialising in handcrafted protein balls made with quality ingredients and attention to detail. As demand continues to increase, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Production Assistant to support our overnight production team.

The Role

This is a night shift position, working from 10:00pm to 6:00am.

As a Kitchen Production Assistant, you will be involved in the hands-on preparation, hand-rolling and decorating of our protein balls, along with packing and organising finished products. This is a practical role in a fast-paced kitchen environment where consistency, care and hygiene are key. Please note this is a physical job on your feet.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and mixing of ingredients
• Weighing and portioning mixtures accurately
• Hand-rolling protein balls to company size and quality standards
• Decorating and finishing products as required
• Packing and labelling finished goods
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
• Following food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures at all times
• Supporting the team to meet nightly production targets

What We’re Looking For

• Availability to work overnight shifts (10:00pm – 6:00am)
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing consistent, high-quality products
• Good time management and ability to work efficiently
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working night hours
• Ability to work as part of a small team
• Candidate who wants to work and learn
• Candidate who takes direction and instruction
• Understanding of food safety standards - Haccp level 1

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 26 per week
