We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Full-Time Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor to join our growing team here at The College Green Hotel, Dublin.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Steward to oversee stewarding operations across its three kitchens. Reporting directly to the Chief Kitchen Steward & Executive Chef, the Stewarding Supervisor will be responsible for the cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth operation of all kitchen back-of-house areas.

This supervisory role includes managing a team of kitchen porters, following staffing rosters in conjunction with the Chief Kitchen Steward, and ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and operational support across all culinary outlets

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with leading the stewarding operations across all three kitchens within The College Green Hotel.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate a team of kitchen porters to maintain high standards of hygiene and efficiency.
  • Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and service ware in accordance with HACCP and hotel standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of dishwashing stations, floors, bins, storage areas, and waste management zones.
  • Oversee and report maintenance needs for all stewarding-related equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to food safety, health, and safety regulations.
  • Promote sustainability by supporting waste segregation and reduction initiatives.

Skills/Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role in a hotel or high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene practices and HACCP compliance.
  • Experience managing a team across multiple outlets or service points is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and under pressure.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
