Job Summary
Experienced and dependable Line Cook/Supervisor with a proven ability to balance hands-on kitchen execution with back-of-house administrative responsibilities. Skilled in preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment while managing food costs, inventory, and ordering. Strong organizational and time-management skills allow seamless coordination of day-to-day kitchen operations and administrative duties. Demonstrates effective leadership through clear communication, mentorship, and by setting a consistent example on the line. Committed to maintaining kitchen efficiency, product quality, and team morale while driving operational success.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as needed.
- Maintain and ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- In charge of inventory and ordering for the whole store, maintaining a relationship with suppliers.
- Keep track of food cost and inventory prices keeping track of if they become higher or not
- Monitor food cost or do food cost every couple of months if need be.
- Potentionally handle cash and make regular deposits to the bank.
- Be familiar with the pos system and be able to make changes to the menu or add new items if needed.
- Work with accounting and scanning the invoices/documents into the accounting servers.
- Other office/admin work if needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
- Strong skills in meal preparation, including cooking techniques and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to help create memorable dining experiences for guests.
- Good leadership skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
