Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized tutoring sessions based on the Kumon method, focusing on math and reading skills development.
• Implement curriculum development strategies to tailor lessons that meet each student’s unique needs and learning pace.
• Utilize learning technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.
• Plan lessons that incorporate best practices in early childhood education, preschool experience, and special education when applicable.
• Communicate progress clearly with students and parents, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, lesson plans, and attendance to track progress over time.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience or tutoring experience working with children or students of various ages.
• Knowledge of curriculum development principles and lesson planning techniques.
• Experience with classroom management strategies to foster a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Familiarity with learning technology tools used in educational settings.
• Background in early childhood education, preschool experience, or special education is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills to effectively connect with students, parents, and team members.
