Job Description: Lab Chemist – Coal Industry
Key Responsibilities:

• Sample Testing & Analysis:
• Conduct chemical and physical analysis of coal samples, including moisture, ash, volatile matter, and calorific value.
• Perform proximate and ultimate analysis to determine the quality and usability of coal.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure all testing procedures comply with company and industry standards.
• Monitor and maintain quality benchmarks for coal production and supply.
• Data Recording & Reporting:
• Accurately document test results and prepare detailed reports.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on findings to improve product quality.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as calorimeters, crushers, and moisture analyzers.
• Ensure calibration and regular servicing of laboratory equipment.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols in the laboratory environment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and industry regulations.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with production and quality teams to address quality-related concerns.
• Provide technical support and advice to management regarding coal testing and standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
