Job Description: Lab Chemist – Coal Industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Sample Testing & Analysis:
- Conduct chemical and physical analysis of coal samples, including moisture, ash, volatile matter, and calorific value.
- Perform proximate and ultimate analysis to determine the quality and usability of coal.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all testing procedures comply with company and industry standards.
- Monitor and maintain quality benchmarks for coal production and supply.
- Data Recording & Reporting:
- Accurately document test results and prepare detailed reports.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on findings to improve product quality.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as calorimeters, crushers, and moisture analyzers.
- Ensure calibration and regular servicing of laboratory equipment.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols in the laboratory environment.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and industry regulations.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with production and quality teams to address quality-related concerns.
- Provide technical support and advice to management regarding coal testing and standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
