Job Title: Laboratory ServicesManager
Shift: Monday to Friday Day Shift Hours with 24/7 accountability
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee our laboratory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GLP, FDA regulations, and CGMP standards while managing laboratory staff and resources. This role requires a strong background in microbiology, clinical laboratory experience, and proficiency in laboratory management systems. The Laboratory Manager will play a critical role in supporting clinical trials and research & development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards including GLP, FDA regulations, and CGMP.
- Supervise laboratory staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
- Oversee the implementation of laboratory procedures and techniques, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Coordinate clinical trials and research projects, including data collection and analysis.
- Maintain laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for effective tracking of samples and results.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and new technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research & development initiatives.
- Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Three to five years' experience in a lab leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of GLP, FDA regulations, and CGMP standards.
- Proficiency in microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and various laboratory techniques.
- Extensive clinical laboratory experience with a focus on clinical trials.
- Demonstrated experience in laboratory management and supervising staff.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills for data collection and interpretation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,657.10 - $137,051.36 per year
