Main responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean safe working environment;
• Perform QA/QC tests as per AASHTO M320, M332 and ASTM methods;
• Proceed to the verification and the calibration of equipment and ensure the adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP);
• Analyze test results and verify/calibrate data in electronic or paper format;
• Sample production and shipping tank s for further testing;
• Receive samples from suppliers
• Prepare samples for shipping; .
• Responsible for maintaining the laboratory in a clean state;
• Participate in quality audit.

Technical Requirements

• Solid understanding in chemical principles and mathematics;
• Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Experience in laboratory;
• Laboratory certification ;
• Experience with testing bituminous materials or related products (asset);
• Working knowledge of laboratory safety standards and practices, ie Occupational Healh and Safety.

• Overtime hours when needed;
• Working hours may involve afternoon shift and weekend shift.

Pay: From $33.74 per hour
