Job Description
Agilent in Glostrup is seeking a skilled laboratory technician for Histopathology department in R&D, Glostrup.

About the Team Histopathology department consists of 6 laboratory technicians, 2 academics, and 1 student. The department collaborates across various departments at the Agilent site in Glostrup and the US.
You will become part of an energetic and positive team with excellent collaboration skills. We hold monthly department meetings and “face-to-face” meetings between the manager and employees. These meetings serve to provide support for daily tasks and ensure a continuous focus on professional and personal development.
Applicants for this position would benefit from experience in working in a pathology department or a similar field. However, this is not a requirement as training will be provided.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Support other departments with staining on Omnis, Autostainer or Coverstainer
- Update and maintain the department SOPs
- Tissue Section Preparation
- Registration and Quality Control of Incoming Tissue Blocks
- Maintenance of the Tissue Block Library
- Prescreening Tissue for R&D Projects
- Daily Interaction with Histopathology Users
- Maintenance/Updating of the Team’s Database and planner
- Equipment Maintenance and Control
- Exploring Opportunities for Efficiency and Automation
The work will be diverse and independent, and it is essential to be approachable and service-minded in this outward-facing role within the company.

Qualifications
Your Qualifications:
- Background as a Bioanalyst or Laboratory Technician
- Experience with Tissue Sectioning is Highly Beneficial but not a demand

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
