Sessler Wrecking is looking for a Laborer!

Over the past 67 years, Sessler Wrecking has grown into one of the largest turn-key Building, Bridge, & Industrial Demolition specialists in the country. We are seeking a candidate to support all divisions of Sessler Wrecking. This opportunity will be working in an exciting and high-growth environment focusing on the planning, management, and successful outcome of demolition projects. Sessler is seeking this position for projects and locations across the Eastern United States.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with demolition tasks, including manual tearing down of structures and clearing debris.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and cutting torches to support demolition operations.
• Perform material handling, loading, and unloading debris for transport or disposal.
• Support equipment operators by preparing the site and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Set up and break down job sites, including the placement of barricades, cones, and signage.
• Climb and work at heights or confined spaces as needed for demolition tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all site protocols.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, such as greasing tools or checking fluids.
• Assist in the rigging of structures and machinery to facilitate safe demolition.
• Adhere to project timelines while maintaining a high standard of work quality.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, laborers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Desired Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
• Ability to work in all weather.
• Workers must be punctual and reliable.
• This position will be working at project sites and travel will be required.
