Description:
Warehouse Duties

•
Perform pre-checks on powered tools to ensure they are in proper working order

•
Perform general warehouse, production, and cooler service duties

•
Load and unload goods from trucks, vans, and trailers

•
Complete general housekeeping in the warehouse, including sweeping, cleaning, and straightening

•
Unload trucks using a pallet jack, including restacking, scanning, and inventory management

•
Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or materials

•
Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or materials

•
Assist other team members as needed

•
Assist with the receivals of products

•
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area

•
Sort and place stock or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to Perfection’s standards

•
Assist in loading and unloading items from delivery trucks

•
Perform minor troubleshooting activities when needed

•
Pick orders from storage areas and verify order accuracy using order sheets

•
Count quantities of items requested by customers and ensure any damaged fresh produce is isolated and reported to the supervisor immediately

•
Operate an electric pallet jack to lift and transport items to the labelling and quality control section (if needed)

•
Utilise the required PPE (personal protective equipment)

Stocktake and Administration Duties

•
Collect stock orders, print requests, and record items received or distributed through a computer

•
Assist in physical stock counts

•
Communicate with drivers to ensure safe docking

•
Check off stock against transport paperwork

•
Check pallet counts against paperwork

•
Record and communicate any discrepancies in paperwork

•
Label all incoming stock with a date code and GRN label

•
Ensure the correct stock has been picked and loaded for despatch

•
Ensure orders are picked according to customer specifications, including pick, re-pack, stack, and label requirements

•
Print all required labels to meet customer specifications

•
Check stock quality is acceptable for customer orders and communicate any issues to the Warehouse Manager

•
Assist with planning future order fulfilment as instructed

•
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat

•
Respond to communications from the market sales team regarding late orders and stock top-ups

•
Locate stock, record product types, and communicate with the forklift operator

Skills and Experiences:
Essential Requirements

•
Assist in loading and unloading items from delivery trucks

•
Ability to always perform daily duties in a safe manner

•
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including frequently standing, walking, stooping, or kneeling without restrictions

•
Regularly lift and/or move objects between 15kg–20kg

•
Ability to stand for 8–12 hour shifts on concrete floors

•
Willingness to learn new job functions and contribute to the team’s success

•
Computer literacy and attention to detail

•
Effective communication and listening skills

•
Forklift Licence - Not essential but still desirable
