What You Will Do:
In this unionized position of Land Administrator, you will play an essential role within our Land Services team. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing files for new rural and urban customer applications;
- Searching land titles;
- Conducting third party searches and requesting applicable agreements;
- Creating work orders as required;
- Providing Commissioner of Oaths services;
- Processing damage claims; and
- Overseeing records management.
What You Will Bring:
Required qualifications:
- Post-secondary Land Administration Certificate or equivalent;
- Up to five (5) years’ experience working in land administration;
- Intermediate MS Office suite of products; and
- Beginner experience in SharePoint.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Qualification to be a Commissioner for Oaths;
- Working knowledge of land documentation;
- General knowledge of related government Acts (e.g. Pipeline Act, Land Titles Act etc.);
- High attention to detail and quality;
- Good communication skills, decision making skills and a strong work ethic; and
- Ability to establish good working relationships and provide excellent customer service.
