Landscape Foreman

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping team in delivering high-quality landscape maintenance and design services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role requires hands-on work as well as the ability to supervise and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results in landscaping, grounds maintenance projects and all things trees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Oversee the maintenance of trees and other landscape features like planting, pruning, and trimming.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in tree care and landscape maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections of job sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, crew members, and management to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any repairs needed.
• Assist in the planning and execution of landscape design projects as needed.
• Operate equipment like trucks, trailers, skid steers, backpack blowers, and hedge trimmers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tree care and landscape maintenance with a focus on supervising teams.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, including plant care, and pest management.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with landscaping work, including lifting heavy materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in maintaining landscapes.
• Valid driver's license is preferred for operating company vehicles.
• Ability to operate manual transmissions a must.
• Bilingual is helpful but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
