Perianth Landscapes, a well-regarded company with seven years of experience in the Wānaka area, is looking for an enthusiastic Landscape Gardener Labourer to join our team working across the Central Otago region. We are committed to delivering personalised service and professional attention to detail in maintaining and installing gardens for both new and established properties.

In this role, you will support our team of gardeners and landscapers with a variety of tasks focused on garden maintenance and improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

• General garden maintenance including hedge trimming, tree pruning, weeding, and lawn mowing
• Loading, unloading, and moving garden supplies and equipment
• Assisting with site preparation for new gardens using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
• Planting and transplanting natives, shrubs, trees, and lawns
• Driving company vans and trucks with trailers – good reversing skills are essential
• Cleaning and maintaining garden tools and equipment

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least one year of experience in gardening or landscaping
• Good physical fitness and the ability to handle outdoor tasks such as digging, lifting, and working on your feet all day
• A strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
• A sensible and safety-conscious attitude when working around machinery such as diggers, trucks, stump grinders, and wood chippers
• A clean Class 1 driver licence

This is a full-time role, offering 30+ hours per week, typically Monday to Friday between 8 am and 5 pm, with occasional weekend work. The hourly rate will be $26–$32, based on experience.
