Absolute Home Services is a Burlington based home services company established in 2012. We offer a one-stop shop for home owners to get all of their home services done by one company who is focused on delivering great work and service. We currently have divisions within the company including landscaping, handyman services, and painting. We are growing rapidly and looking for people that are customer-oriented individuals who want to grow.

Job Purpose

The Landscape Lead Hand is responsible for working along side the crew leader on various residential landscape projects. In our landscape division we do residential maintenance, enhancements and hardscapes and are looking for lead hands in each area to join our growing division. We work on projects of all different sizes. This is a year around position - in winter we take care of residential snow removal.

Duties and responsibilities

The Landscape Construction Lead Hand is a key member of the Landscape team ensuring that timelines, budgets and customer expectations are satisfied. The Lead Hand is responsible for the following:

• Meeting at the yard daily (5025 Guelph Line, Burlington) and working Monday to Friday full-time
• Working alongside the crew leader and crew on various maintenance, enhancement or hardscape projects
• Helping the crew achieve budget and timeline expectations
• Helping to maintain the landscape equipment
• Helping deliver high quality work and service to our customers

Qualifications

The lead hand must have some landscape experience though we are open to training and coaching a fast learner that wants to learn and grow. We are looking for people that want to grow into Crew Leaders and potentially even Project Management.

Compensation

$21-27 per hour based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour

Experience:

• Landscaping: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver's License and Transportation to and from our Yard (preferred)
