Landscape Maintenance Manager – Lead with Experience, Grow with Agave LD!

We’re looking for a Landscape Maintenance Manager who can help us continue to raise the bar.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape maintenance (REQUIRED)
- Be bilingual in English and Spanish – able to communicate clearly with both crews and clients (REQUIRED)
- Be a strong team leader who sets a positive example
- Be highly organized and focused on efficiency, quality, and safety
- Have experience training and developing maintenance crew members
- Enjoy being in the field, supporting and supervising work on-site
- Be comfortable communicating with clients to ensure satisfaction and upsell services
- Be skilled in estimating and bidding maintenance contracts
- Take ownership of day-to-day operations and support the company’s long-term goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate daily maintenance routes for crews
- Supervise and support crews on-site and remotely as needed
- Train new team members on maintenance practices and safety protocols
- Perform regular quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards
- Communicate with clients and crews clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish
- Monitor equipment and vehicles; report maintenance and repair needs
- Manage materials and supply inventory for maintenance operations
- Assist in preparing estimates and proposals for new maintenance contracts
- Upsell improvements or additional services to existing clients
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and professionalism in every project
- Report job progress, crew performance, and site issues to upper management
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of landscape maintenance experience (REQUIRED)
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (REQUIRED)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to train, motivate, and hold teams accountable
- Working knowledge of irrigation, pruning, mowing, and horticultural practices
- Understanding of maintenance estimating, job costing, and scheduling
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (emails, route scheduling, reporting)
Who This Job is NOT for:
- Someone without hands-on experience in landscape maintenance
- Someone who can’t communicate fluently in both English and Spanish
- Someone uncomfortable leading and correcting crews in the field
- Someone who avoids direct client interaction or conflict resolution
- Someone who doesn’t thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
