Position Overview
The Landscape Project Manager oversees the execution of landscape construction and installation projects from start to finish. This role ensures that every project is completed on time, within budget, and to the company’s quality standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients, crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple landscape projects simultaneously, from mobilization to final walkthrough.
- Coordinate with designers, estimators, and field crews to ensure accurate project execution.
- Schedule, supervise, and support installation crews and subcontractors.
- Oversee project budgets, change orders, and job costing to ensure profitability.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Communicate proactively with clients to provide updates and resolve issues promptly.
- Review and approve material orders, delivery schedules, and installation plans.
- Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, time logs, and photos.
- Ensure all work meets company standards, local codes, and design intent.
- Promote a positive, professional image of the company at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing landscape construction or related field operations.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, plant materials, irrigation, and hardscaping.
- Proven ability to read and interpret landscape plans and construction documents.
- Excellent organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office, and mobile apps for field reporting.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Preferred Experience
- Degree or certification in Landscape Management, Construction Management, Horticulture, or related field.
- Experience working in high-end residential or design-build environments.
- Familiarity with estimating, job costing, and contract administration.
