Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves supervising and leading a team in various landscaping tasks, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. The Landscape Technician will be responsible for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, and trees.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team in landscape maintenance activities, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, fertilizing, and aerating to promote healthy growth.
- Build and install landscape features including flower beds, pathways, and decorative elements.
- Irrigate landscapes effectively, managing water resources to maintain optimal plant health.
- Provide tree care services including pruning, trimming, and removal as necessary.
- Maintain equipment and tools used in landscaping operations to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Execute seasonal landscaping tasks such as planting flowers in spring or leaf removal in fall.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, garden design, and tree care practices.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- A strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
