Blooming Gaia Landscapes is a small yet thriving and growing landscaping company which specializes in both maintenance and soft scape installation of residential properties primarily in Richmond BC. We take pride in our professional culture, high standards, and commitment to client satisfaction.
We’re looking for a skilled, reliable, and motivated individual to step into a key support role as a right-hand to the Crew Lead, with a clear path toward transitioning into a Crew Lead position.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes initiative, leads by example, and is ready to grow into managing their own crew. You’ll work closely with leadership, support day-to-day operations, and gradually take on more responsibility on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Crew Lead in daily landscape maintenance (mowing, pruning, weeding, garden bed care) and installation work (planting, soil work, light hardscape).
- Help organize the crew, maintain workflow, and keep job sites running efficiently.
- Step into a leadership role when needed—guiding team members and helping maintain standards.
- Take initiative on tasks and confidently handle smaller jobs independently when required.
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools, trucks, and trailers.
- Ensure quality of work, site safety, and overall professionalism on every job.
- Communicate clearly with team members, clients, and management.
- Assist with tracking daily progress, hours, and materials using mobile apps or site sheets.
- Support training and onboarding of newer team members.

Qualifications:
- 2–3+ years of landscape maintenance experience (installation experience is an asset).
- Solid plant identification knowledge.
- Experience using power tools and basic equipment maintenance.
- Natural leadership ability with a strong work ethic and team mindset.
- Valid BC driver’s license with a clean abstract (truck and trailer experience preferred).
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs+ and work outdoors in all conditions.
- Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for job tracking and communication.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Horticulture training or certification.
- Experience with hardscaping, irrigation, or basic carpentry.
- Ability to read landscape plans or follow install layouts.
