Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and assist with a variety of outdoor projects. This role involves supporting landscape maintenance, construction, and horticultural tasks to ensure the aesthetic and functional quality of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work.

Duties

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting, grading, and soil preparation
• Operate equipment such as excavators and skid steers and power tools to perform digging, trenching, and other construction tasks
• Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, and adjusting components
• Perform gardening activities including planting, pruning, mowing, and weed control
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, mulching, and fertilizing
• Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment for various landscaping projects
• Support construction activities related to landscape features like patios, walkways, or retaining walls
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and maintenance activities
• Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning

Requirements

• Prior experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge related to power tools and construction equipment is advantageous
• Ability to drive 1/2 ton truck with utility trailer
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators is desirable
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, chain saws and general maintenance procedures required for landscaping projects
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety standards and procedures during all work activities
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
