Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Job Description:

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Landscaping Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the landscaping trade, stay active, and grow with a small business.

No experience is required — we’re willing to train the right person.

About Us:

Jersey Roots Landscaping is a growing local landscaping business serving the Freehold and surrounding Monmouth County area. We take pride in providing reliable, high-quality “white glove” service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lawn mowing and trimming
• Edging and weed whacking
• Blowing grass clippings and cleanup
• Assisting with spring/fall cleanups/ possible snow cleanup and removal
• Loading/unloading equipment
• General outdoor labor tasks

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to lift 40–50 lbs
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Must wear landscaping work attire for your safety

Preferred (Not Required):

• Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience- yes cutting your parents or grandparents lawns count!
• Experience with lawn equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers)

Schedule:

• Part-time hours. Will receive more hours on days with spring/summer/fall "large clean ups"
• Work days can fall Monday through Saturday but never on sundays
• We aim to provide schedules in advance, but flexibility is important as last-minute or new jobs may come up
