Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Construction Labourers /Foremen to join our team and assist/ lead the way on various construction projects. These role involve hands-on work in landscape construction driving the creation of beautiful, functional landscapes. The ideal candidates will have a well rounded construction background, passion for outdoor work, a strong work ethic, work great in helping or leading a team environment as well as on their own, and the ability to operate various tools and machinery.

Duties

• Lead /assist various concrete pours and projects from end to end
• Lead/ assist in timber fence and deck construction
• Lead/ assist in interlock and natural stone flat work and retaining walls
• Ability to assist / oversee and operate equipment to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation
• Operate mini skid steers to assist site excavation duties
• Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment for construction-related tasks
• Ensure general site cleanup and debris removal after and during projects activities
• Lead/ assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues related to landscaping equipment

Requirements

• Clean Drivers record ,G Class is required anything above is an asset
• Commercial driving experience is an asset
• Must have own vehicle
• Prior experience driving pickup truck and trailer combos required
• Experienced with landscaping tools and machinery such as excavators, skid steers, hand tools, power tools, concrete /interlock/ natural stone experience preferred
• Knowledge in landscape construction practices is required
• Mechanical knowledge beneficial for equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and operating machinery for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour
