We are looking for a Landscaping Maintenance Crew Lead to join our growing Landscaping division.

Absolute Home Services is a home services company based in Burlington, ON, that operates primarily throughout Burlington, Oakville, and Mississauga. We are a one-stop shop for home owners for various home services and have divisions in landscaping, painting, and handyman services.

We are looking to add a crew lead to our landscape maintenance team. Our ideal candidate is someone that has experience in residential maintenance, some leadership experience, takes pride in their work, is customer-oriented, and looking to grow their skills, experience and career in a great company that has been rapidly growing since our start in 2012!

Job Purpose

The Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead is responsible for leading a maintenance crew to complete all types of landscape maintenance jobs on residential homes including spring and fall clean ups, lawn and garden maintenance, and other landscape projects such as sodding, planting, mulching, etc. This position is year-round; in the winter we take care of residential snow for our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

The main goals of the Landscape Crew Lead are to help build customer loyalty by providing professional quality work and excellent customer service, while performing jobs efficiently and on budget.

The main duties and responsibilities include:

• Leading a crew to complete landscape maintenance services and various landscape projects for our customers
• Ensuring the safety of their crew, the equipment and the vehicles
• Leading the crews to hit time budgets on projects
• Communicating with the project manager regularly and at times ordering materials
• Communicating with customers daily

Qualifications & Requirements

Qualifications include:

• 3+ years in landscaping with some experience in landscape maintenance
• Driver’s License and experience pulling a trailer
• Past leadership experience
• Reference from past work experience in landscaping

Compensation

Compensation will be hourly and based on experience.

Position includes using a company vehicle.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Experience:

• Landscape: 3 years (preferred)
• Landscape Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver's license and a clean driving record (required)
