Laundry Assistant - Night Shift

Main Purpose of the Job

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be expected to sort, wash, dry, fold and store linens. You will be also responsible for sorting and packing the laundry by categories and ready for dispatch. You will be required to accept responsibility for all linen and laundry delivery turn around times. This is a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties - 40 Hours per week - 10pm to 8am

1. To follow the business and housekeeping department’s policies and procedures at all times.

2. To sort, wash, dry and process linen through all the onsite machines ensuring it is ready for dispatch in an excellent quality.

3. To correctly use the various cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment.

4. To maintain a neat and tidy linen room and work area at all times.

5. To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming and ensure that the provided uniform is neatly presented.

6. To be flexible in working the weekly roster.

7. To report and follow up on all maintenance defects and safety hazards in assigned sections daily.

8. To ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations, including fire, emergency, and chemical regulations.

9. Sort the laundry items according to type, size and brand.

10. Arrange linen in the laundry storage room and transport bins neatly and correctly.

11. Prepare the required linen for all three company sites.

12. Update the laundry list and record it on a daily basis.

13. Maintain inventory level which includes chemicals and linen. Keep it updated on a weekly basis.

14. Performs other duties as required.

15.A Strong level of English is essential

Pay: €14.00-€14.50 per hour
