Duties

• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels.
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal processing
• Perform dry cleaning services for delicate or specialized garments as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and uniforms
• Inspect items for stains or damages, reporting any issues for further treatment or replacement
• Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation to prevent accidents

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control of all linen and clothing items
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads safely
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols related to laundry operations is a plus
