Purpose
As a Laundry Attendant, your role is all about keeping our hotel's linens and textiles in top-notch condition. Collecting, sorting, washing, and folding linens, operating laundry machines, and making sure our inventory is shipshape. Your responsibilities extend beyond the physical tasks and include collaborating harmoniously within the team and helping guests whenever needed. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures our guests enjoy a comfortable and clean stay.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, and fold linens, ensuring they are impeccably clean and well maintained
• Skilfully operate laundry machinery and equipment to carry out cleaning and drying processes effectively
• Maintain thorough inventory control to keep track of linens and textiles, ensuring they are readily available for our Housekeeping team
• Work harmoniously within the housekeeping team and assist guests when necessary, ensuring that all requests are prioritised and completed in a timely manner
• Use cleaning materials and equipment with care and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment
• Uphold our commitment to guest comfort by respecting their privacy and security, ensuring strict adherence to lost property and security protocols.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a laundry attendant, cleaner, or room attendant is a plus
• Your communication style is warm and welcoming where guests and team members alike feel right at home around you!
• You have an eye for detail and work efficiently, managing your time well and taking pride in your tasks
• You enjoy a physical role, navigating between rooms may involve using internal and external staircases and open pathways
• You embrace collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds
• Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
