We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in the Legal and Compliance division.
In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is an Associate level position within the LCD Business Management team.

What you'll do in the role:
Creation and maintenance of Budget Requests
Annual and ad-hoc budget maintenance
Handling queries related to the process
Perform maintenance to include removal of inactive sponsors and researching inactive Funding Requests
Manage the exception handling process between Team connect and Funding Request Tool
Directly interact with LCD management and staff to address escalations, issues and training needs
Manage successful completion of daily exceptions between the interfaces such as
Reconciliation of vendor data between the Funding Tool and Team connect and working with Accounts Payable (AP)
Reconciliation of allocation issues
Following up with users to address inconsistencies between the Funding tool and Team connect
Escalating to senior management, as needed
Placing funding requests on hold if exception cannot be reconciled through data changes and creating/updating matters manually.
Update matters or invoices based on a bi-weekly reconciliation exercise to improve payments and accruals processing
Use reporting tools such as business objects to perform data analysis
Support various risk management control implementation efforts for budget maintenance
Ensure projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule and quality standards
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
Develop and deliver proposals, requirement documentations and presentations for system enhancement
Participation in testing of newly developed functionalities and reporting against them in timely manner
Act as an SME for Funding Administration processes by training on allocated processes and act as back-up resource
Make recommendations on process improvements
What you'll bring to the role:
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with senior managers as well as subject matter experts
Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment also with third party partners
Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
Successfully meet established deadline requirements - display efficient time management skills
Possess the ability to research and resolve issues independently
Must follow documented procedures however must also have an ability to propose a plan or approach where procedure is undefined or may need to be updated.
Ability to manage and interact in a matrix organization is essential.
Individual must be able to multi-task effectively.
Self-motivated and willing to assume responsibility.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
