Right out of Betty’s sugar-filled head, we believe that if something brings you joy in life, let’s try and put it on a spoon for you.

We are seeking a passionate skilled Lead Production Baker. You will be responsible of creating the inclusions, sauces, and batters for the some of the best ice cream the Midwest has to offer. Looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, can multi task like a wizard, capable of following recipes. This is not for the faint of heart but very rewarding working for a World Class company

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food production activities, ensuring all items meet quality standards and presentation expectations
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols and hygiene regulations across all kitchen operations
• Train and mentor team members in food handling, culinary techniques, knife skills, baking, and food preparation methods
• Ensure efficient workflow within the kitchen to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in baking or similar culinary experience
• Extensive knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in a professional kitchen environment
• Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts within the food industry
• Prior experience in food production ; restaurant experience is a plus
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in baking techniques required for high-quality product creation
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
