Construction Hoists & Mast Climbers | Site-Based Role

United Lifting is expanding its hoist division and is seeking an experienced Lead Hoist Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning and servicing of passenger & goods hoists, goods-only hoists and mast climbers across Dublin construction projects.

This is a practical, site-based contractor role suited to an industrial electrician, lift engineer, crane electrical technician or experienced hoist engineer who prefers working under an RCT structure with strong hourly earnings.

Key Responsibilities

- Electrical installation, testing and commissioning of construction hoists

- Fault finding on control panels, safety circuits and drive systems

- Routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance

- Breakdown response and technical support on live construction sites

- Support erection teams during installs and climbing operations

- Maintain service records and comply with site safety procedures

Requirements

- Industrial electrical or electro-mechanical background

- Experience with hoists, lifts, cranes, access platforms or heavy plant preferred

- Strong electrical fault-finding ability

- Comfortable working at height on construction sites

- Ability to work independently and manage own workload

- Full clean driving licence

- Own transport, tools and PPE preferred

Rate & Payment Structure

- €40 per hour paid under the RCT (Relevant Contracts Tax) system

- Self-employed contractor arrangement

- Ongoing pipeline of work with United Lifting across Dublin

Typical working hours: 7am – 5pm depending on site requirements.

Location: Dublin and surrounding areas.
