Lead Implementor/Programmer

This role focuses on leveraging API programming, system integration, and vendor-provided modernization tools to streamline operations and enhance efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

API & Application Programming

  • Develop applications within Visual Studio, preferably using Visual Basic .NET, to integrate with various online platforms and internal systems.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize API connections to external websites, internal databases, and vendor-specific tools.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs (RESTful, SOAP, or other protocols).
  • Strong understanding of API security practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
  • Experience with integrating APIs with various systems, databases, and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into automated, scalable solutions.
  • Work with legacy systems; knowledge of Visual COBOL is a plus.

Document Management (M-Files)

  • Modify, configure, and manage the M-Files Document Management System.
  • Use VBA to customize workflows, metadata structures, and automation within M-Files.
  • Training will be provided for M-Files if the applicant does not have prior experience.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an Information Technology role supporting a cross-functional team in a B2B environment.
  • Strong experience in API development and application programming.
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic .NET.
  • Working knowledge of VBA.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and implement technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills
  • High level of attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Preferred and Additional Skills:

Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:

  • Microsoft Server Administration
  • Network and Endpoint Security
  • Implementation of NIST Security Standards
  • Office 365 Administration

Security & Eligibility Requirement:

Due to the sensitive and controlled nature of information involved in aerospace, defense, and government programs, U.S. citizenship is required. Access to certain technical data and program materials is restricted under federal regulations and contractual obligations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $100,000 – 110,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
