Lead Installation Supervisor

The department is part of the Offshore Service organisation in the Vestas NCE Region. You’ll join a diverse team of over 500 colleagues who work daily to provide Offshore Services to our valued customers. Our work encompasses everything from strategic planning and operational improvements to health & safety, technical case handling, and delivering services on offshore wind turbines.
The role functions at an operational level, bridging the gap between supervisors and daily tasks, while also reporting to the Lead Site Manager for planning responsibilities. Your daily responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Oversee safety and quality, including conducting Toolbox Talks
- Manage daily installation activities (back office) and validate Daily Progress Reports
- Coordinate load-out with Pre-Installation, Commissioning, Quality, and HSE teams
- Ensure quality observations, handle evaluation/handover processes, and collect As-Built and As-Left documentation
- Maintain compliance with Work Instructions and manage interface between supervisors and fitters
- Report on team performance and development to the Lead Site Manager, acting as a team motivator
- Plan and execute mobilisation, demobilisation, and installation kick-offs in cooperation with IPM, CSM, and AP, while implementing process optimisations and structuring work packages
- Over 5 years of experience in offshore installation
- Comprehensive HSEQ mindset, promoting a culture of safety and quality
- Advanced leadership skills
- Solid technical and WTG knowledge
- Lead and motivate the supervisor team, exemplifying Vestas quality and safety standards
- Solid coordination and planning skills with internal stakeholders like pre-installation, quality, and commissioning teams
- The ability to proactively solve problems and stay professional during busy periods
- Demonstrate responsibility and result-oriented behavious
- Embrace inclusivity and act as a team motivator and facilitator
Primary work location: You can be a resident in either Denmark or UK. This position requires up to 180 days travel per year.
