Your Mission
You will lead the build-up and scalable growth of the Large Industrial Solutions business in Italy and being part of the global E.ON Energy Infrastructure Solutions segment in EON. In this key leadership role, you actively drive market acceleration, pipeline development and project closures while holding full entrepreneurial responsibility across the entire value chain — from lead generation to profitable asset operations.
Your Responsibilities
- Business responsibility for building a profitable Large Scale Industry platform in Italy across the entire value chain (origination, business development, structuring, construction, operations and optimisation)
- Active development of a robust sales and project pipeline in the industrial customer segment, including closing long-term customer contracts
- Definition and execution of growth-oriented market strategies to scale the business and position EIS as a leading industrial energy partner
- Development of compelling value propositions for industrial customers and leadership of complex sales processes
- Ownership of key customer relationships and management of strategic partnerships
- Close collaboration with the European EIS organisation to leverage technical, commercial and operational excellence while adapting to local market conditions
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing team of 5–10 project managers with strong performance and results orientation
- Establish efficient governance, decision-making and execution processes within the Italian organisation and across the EIS ecosystem
Your Profile
- Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering, Economics, Business or a comparable field
- More than 10 years of relevant experience in business development, project development or building new business lines — ideally in energy or industrial environments
- Proven track record in market entry, pipeline creation and closing complex industrial projects
- Ideally hands-on experience in the construction and operation of CHP plants (Combined Heat & Power / Cogeneration) or comparable industrial energy assets
- Deep understanding of the Italian industrial market with a strong senior-level network
- Strong commercial acumen, entrepreneurial mindset and closing strength
- Demonstrated leadership experience in international, multicultural organisations
- Hands-on personality with drive, curiosity, courage, good sense of humour and strong team spirit
- Fluent in Italian and English
