Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in research and development of STATCOM and SVC solutions.
• Design and validate innovative control system features and algorithms.
• Collaborate closely with Control Software Engineering teams in Tampere and globally.
• Participate in technical negotiations with end customers and stakeholders.
• Support equipment sourcing and technical tendering processes.
• Contribute to patents and scientific publications.

Qualifications:

• MSc (or higher) in Power/Control System Engineering or equivalent.
• Specialized knowledge in Electrical Power Engineering and control system design.
• Proficiency in simulation tools such as PSCAD, Matlab Simulink, RTDS, or PSSE.
• Fluent in English and Finnish; additional language skills are advantageous.
