About the Role
Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, the Lead Business Partner provides senior level advice and services to the organisation on employee relations, industrial relations, legislative compliance, and industrial instruments matters. This role also leads People and Culture projects and provides guidance and support to People and Culture Business Partners and Advisors.
Duties
- Lead grievance resolution and complex workplace investigations.
- Lead complex end-to-end case management of performance and disciplinary processes.
- Lead the development, implementation, and review of P&C policies and procedures.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting.
- Provide high level analysis and advice of industrial instruments.
- Coach, develop, and train People and Culture Business Partners and Advisors.
- Permanent full-time role – 76 hours per fortnight.
- Make a lasting impact by contributing your expertise to enable frontline staff to deliver a proven model of care to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
- Work in the Murarrie business precinct, on site and street parking available.
- Salary package up to $15,900 net and add Entertainment Benefits up to $2649 every Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) year.
- Flexible rostering hours / WFH options available.
- Access to company mobile phone and company vehicle to travel from site-to-site and conduct off-site visits.

Required
Tertiary qualifications / degree in Human Resources, Workplace Relations, or Employment Law.
Significant experience in a Human Resources business partner role with a strong employee relations focus.
Experience in leading people and culture projects and change management activities across the organisation.
Very strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments and application in the workplace.
Very strong knowledge and experience in workplace change, employee relations, complex case management, performance management, discipline, termination, grievance management and resolution, and workplace investigations.
Ability to develop and lead people and culture projects and change management activities across the organisation.
Working with Children Check (Blue Card) + National Police Clearance.
