We have an exciting leadership opportunity within our growing General Insurance pricing team. This role will see you leading a small team responsible for providing analytical and technical support in the delivery of pricing insights. This includes the analysis of business opportunities and the recommendation of solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to the development of data, modelling and analytical processes to deliver best practice pricing outcomes.
• Support the team implementing pricing changes, algorithm simplification and maintenance; and pricing platform queries.
• Provide expertise to deliver a structured and disciplined approach to establish technical pricing advice process for all portfolios.
• Contribute to the rate review processes for all portfolios.
• Lead and develop the capability of the team through effective coaching and mentoring.

What we are looking for:

• Nearly/newly qualified actuary preferred or other relevant statistical qualification
• Experience in managing a team or a passion for this to be your next career step
• General Insurance Pricing experience greatly desired
• Strong analytical capability and proficient with R, Python, SAS or other programming language and advanced Microsoft Excel. ArcGIS experience is an advantage
