The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced civil construction professionals looking to take the next step in their leadership career.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in coordinating daily site activities, leading crews, maintaining productivity and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification.

You will be a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to the successful delivery of civil construction projects.

This role is also viewed as a development pathway towards future Site Supervisor opportunities within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily site activities and work crews
• Support project delivery in line with program and budget requirements
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on site
• Supervise subcontractors and site personnel
• Monitor quality outcomes and project specifications
• Assist with planning, resource allocation and site documentation
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching and leadership
• Maintain positive working relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams

Skills and Experiences:
You will have:

• Proven experience within civil construction and earthmoving projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Current Construction White Card
• Current Class C Drivers Licence
• Ability to read and interpret plans and project documentation
• Sound understanding of WHS and environmental requirements
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership

Highly Regarded

• MR or HR Licence
• Excavator, Skid Steer, Roller, Water Cart or Articulated Haul Truck VOC/SOA
• Experience supervising crews on subdivision, road, bulk earthworks or infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated understanding of project productivity, cost control and program management
