Description:
Who we are looking for….
Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, proactive leader with the ability to manage a team in a fast-moving environment and drive the successful performance of a section of the production.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following components:

• Ensuring orders are packed and picked according to all appropriate procedures.
• Machine Operation: Properly use all machinery and equipment, with the ability to learn and operate required warehouse machinery.
• Understand the specifications relating to labeling produce. The accurate and complete preparation and receipt of Value-Added Batch (VAB).
• Organising production activities ensuring objectives and targets are achieved within required time frames.
• Collaborating with the quality department to ensure assurance and systems compliance.
• Optimising current processes and instigation of continuous improvement activity.
• Providing leadership and daily direction for staff of your section.
• Driving the WHS program, ensuring the team follow all appropriate safety systems and processes.

Skills and Experiences:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following capabilities:

• Ability to work early morning shifts with a 6am start time.
• Previous pick/packing experience is highly regarded.
• Hold a forklift licence (highly regarded) or applicant is driven to obtain licence whilst employed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated to continuously improve processes and procedures.
• Ability to coordinate activities efficiently and effectively.
• Knowledge of WHS regulations and requirements.
• Experience in the fresh produce industry (highly regarded)
• Experience leading a small team in a production, warehouse, or packing environment.
