About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Learning and Development Administration Assistant to join our team. This key role supports the Learning and Development Team with training coordination, practice reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative support for training and practice reviews
  • Schedule venues, accommodation, and logistics for training sessions
  • Maintain training registers and ensure data accuracy across systems (SharePoint & Elmo)
  • Generate reports on training attendance, feedback, and outcomes
  • Develop and maintain templates, trackers, and risk registers
  • Coordinate team meetings and take minutes
  • Support internal training and practice review processes end-to-end
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within Learning & Development
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Calm, motivated, and proactive approach
  • Open driver’s license
  • Experience in the Community Services sector, especially Residential Out-of-Home Care, highly regarded
Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Current Licensed Care Service (LCS) check through the Department
  • Available for full-time work, Monday to Friday

Skills and Experiences:
Essential Requirements

  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (must be Open or P2)
  • Approved Licensed Care Service (LSC) check through the department, or ability to obtain one
  • Current Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
  • Flexibility to meet the organisation's needs
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet specific timeframes and targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation, organization, and reporting
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite and LMS systems
  • Provide two recent professional references
