Learning Support Officer


Catholic Regional College Caroline Springs is a co-educational Catholic school providing education to over 1000 students in Melbourne’s West.


Due to expanding enrolments, we are seeking multiple enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Officer (LSO) to join our Learning Diversity team. This is a 5-day per week (0.91 FTE) ongoing position, commencing Tuesday 27 January 2026. Part-time applicants may also be considered, pending experience and proposed FTE (minimum 3-day per week commitment).


The Learning Support Officer will work closely with the Learning Diversity Team, Curriculum Team and classroom teachers to provide high-quality support for students with diverse learning needs.

The successful applicant/s will assist in the development, implementation, and review of Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs), contribute to inclusive classroom practices, and uphold the College values of Live Fully, Act Justly. The ideal candidate/s will demonstrate professionalism, initiative, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education and student growth.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Certificate IV in Educational Support (or higher qualification in Education). Applicants currently enrolled in a similar qualification are also eligible for consideration.
  • Experience supporting students with additional needs in a school setting (highly desirable)
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
