Te āheinga: The opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled qualified Technologist specialised in Automotive and Automotive-Electrical Engineering to join our Electrical Engineering and Applied Technology team as a Lecturer.

Join the School of Computing, Electrical and Applied Technology, where you'll deliver high-quality teaching in the Bachelor of Applied Technology programme. Our courses cover both theoretical and practical aspects of vehicle electrical systems, including modern battery technology, electrical distribution, starter technologies, sensors, and electronic controllers. A strong focus is placed on diagnostics, problem-solving, and hands-on knowledge of modern testing technology.

You don't need to have teaching experience as we will wrap support around you, but what you will need is a genuine passion for student success. You'll be naturally engaging and approachable and who enjoys bringing out the best in others. You'll get huge satisfaction from passing your knowledge on.

You'll have Bachelor of Technology degree or Higher with specialisation in Automotive Engineering.
