Lecturer, Banking & Finance - School Of Business & Accountancy

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develop, prepare and update teaching materials as well as associated assessments and conduct lectures, tutorials and workshops.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and actively network with industry professionals to collaborate on student projects and enhance learning opportunities.

• Set and mark assessments related to the module(s) assigned and keep records of student attendance and grades.

• Support student learning and development through student consultations and mentoring for both PET and CET learners.

• Be required to take on committee portfolio and ad-hoc projects that support the school’s mission.

• Perform academic and administrative duties.

• Lead student overseas trips.

[What we are looking for]

• At least 3 years’ relevant industry experience. Prior teaching experience will be an advantage.

• A nurturing mindset with passion for working with young adults and mature learners.

• Ability to use innovative teaching and learning strategies and a passion for working with and motivating learners.

• Working experience or competency in banking and/or finance and/or analytics, and/or sustainable finance and/or risk and compliance and/or wealth management.

• Competent to plan, develop and teach finance or finance-related modules and manage collaborative initiatives with industry partners.

• Ability to manage and support multiple projects independently as well as in a team setting.
