Te āheinga: The opportunity
The School of Creative Industries is seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Lecturer to join our innovative team. As a Dance Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality classroom and vocational learning across Performing and Screen Arts programmes within the School. This role involves engaging in relevant research, teaching, and co-ordination to support the school's objectives and vital position in relation to the professional industry.

He kōrero mōu: About you
You'll have:
- An understanding or desire to learn te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of kaupapa Māori
- Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
- A relevant degree in Dance, with an evidenced body of work in professional and/ or practice-based training contexts
- Proven experience in teaching and vocational training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
- Strong research background and ability to contribute to academic publications
- Additionally, a postgraduate degree in Dance is preferred but not mandatory.
