At ECU we’re inspired by the incredible achievements of Edith Cowan, the first woman elected to an Australian parliament and a lifelong champion of education. Empowered by her legacy, we’re united in our vision to lead the sector in educational experience and expand our impact through world-class research.

Embrace an opportunity to become part of something extraordinary.

Edith Cowan University’s (ECU) School of Business and Law is a progressive and industry-connected school committed to excellence in education, research, and engagement. Accredited by AACSB International, the School is recognised among the world’s top 300 for Business and Economics in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026, ranked in the top 50 globally for Hospitality and Tourism Management in the 2025 Shanghai Rankings, and ranked first in Western Australia and third nationally for Teaching Quality in the 2025 AFR BOSS Best Business Schools list. The School’s programs are designed to develop world-ready graduates who are innovative, ethically minded, and equipped with the practical skills and global outlook needed to thrive in rapidly changing industries.

As part of an exciting expansion, the School is now located in world-class facilities at the landmark ECU City Campus at Yagan Square – a state-of-the-art Business, Law, Creative Industries and Technology precinct in the heart of Perth. This transformational move brings together teaching, research, and industry engagement in one vibrant hub, marking an inspiring chapter in ECU’s journey of growth and innovation.

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Associate Dean (Management), the School seeks to appoint one ongoing Lecturer (Level B) and one or more fixed-term, teaching-focused scholars (Level A or B). The successful appointees will be responsible for the design, delivery, and coordination of units within the Management discipline. They will also conduct engaged research that produces high-quality scholarly outputs.

As part of the ECU community, the applicant must demonstrate personal attributes that correspond with the University’s Values of Integrity, Respect, Courage, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.
