We are seeking a passionate Lecturer in Pharmacy to join our growing academic team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to influence the education of future pharmacists through high-quality teaching, clinical leadership, and curriculum innovation.

This position supports our expanding student cohort and reflects Curtin’s ongoing commitment to world-class education in the health sciences. The role includes teaching across Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacology and Therapeutics streams of the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours).
Your New Role
As a Lecturer in Pharmacy, you will:
- Coordinate and deliver pharmacy units within the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) program
- Lead and manage clinical education activities, including unit coordination of pharmacy units
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and contemporary pharmacy practice.
- Strengthen and maintain partnerships with clinical placement providers.
- Mentor and support students throughout their academic and clinical learning journey
- Contribute to scholarship in teaching and learning and participate in ongoing quality improvement
You are a committed educator and clinician who values excellence in teaching and student engagement. You will bring:
- A doctoral qualification or a minimum of 10 years’ relevant clinical experience, or equivalent accreditation and professional standing for a Teaching-Focused Clinical Professional role
- Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and understanding of contemporary pharmacy practice
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a reflective approach to learning design and delivery.
- A strong understanding of contemporary pedagogical theory and clinical education practice.
- An emerging record of contribution to scholarship in teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, and a commitment to fostering inclusive and collegial working environments.
- A passion for supporting students from diverse backgrounds and a genuine alignment with Curtin’s values of Integrity, Respect, Courage, Excellence and Impact.
Role Requirements
As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered. Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction.

Curtin Medical School
The Curtin Medical School (CMS) encompasses the disciplines of Medicine, Laboratory Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, and Medical Radiation Science. CMS forms part of the Faculty of Health Sciences and is affiliated with two research institutes; the Curtin Medical Research Institute (Curtin MRI) and the enAble Institute for Health Science (enAble).
