What you will be working on
Responsibilities:-
This job aims to develop students in the domain of Mathematics. There will be opportunities to develop curriculum and undertake administrative work related to teaching and school/institutional strategic initiatives.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Conduct lessons, create teaching and assessment materials, and facilitate learning for students Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum. This includes review/audit of existing curriculum to make recommendations on areas of improvements that would enhance students’ performance, learning and employability. Keep current and abreast of trends and developments in the area of Mathematics so that curriculum is up to date. Undertake development of new class activities for subject area and involvement in pedagogy.
The appointee must be competent to teach the following area:
- Mathematics
The appointee should also be competent to teach in any one of the following areas:
- Statistics
- Data Analytics
- Computing
As the school champions the Common Core Curriculum at SP, the appointee should also be ready to teach at least one of the following Common Core curriculum modules:
- Data Fluency
- Artificial Intelligence & Its Impact
- Persuasive Communication with Data Storytelling
- Problem Solving with Creative and Computational Thinking
What we are looking for
Requirements:-
- Passionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching and mentoring students
- Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team
- Relevant qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or Engineering
- Relevant industry experience and/or knowledge of how mathematics is applied in different fields such as Engineering, IT or Data Analytics
- People-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, written and communication skills

Successful candidate will be offered contract (renewable) on a semestral basis.
