The School of Psychology, Speech and Hearing are looking for a fixed term Lecturer (Teaching and Administration) within an Organisational Psychology context to cover a teaching buy out in the areas of psychometrics, stress and wellbeing, and performance management.
Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
A Pūkenga | Lecturer (Teaching and Administration only) is proficient in teaching and is developing their pedagogical practice. This role is involved in the broader work of the School, including taking on administrative roles that support the achievement of strategic and operational objectives.
You will be responsible for:
- teaching into three 15-point 600 level courses
- providing supervision to students within these courses
- contributing to course and team planning.
Mōu | Who You Are
You must hold a PhD or equivalent (NZQA Level 10) in organisational psychology and show:
- Evidence of reputation within organisational psychology, with a focus on areas related to precarious work and stress, as well as expertise in psychometrics and longitudinal survey methods.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and experience in, delivering effective teaching methods that enable a wide range of learners to succeed.
- Evidence of reflective learning and continuous professional development.
- Experience in online teaching delivery is an advantage.
- An active research portfolio is an advantage.

This role sits within the Academic Staff, Associated Staff and Academic Support Staff Collective Agreement and the following salary scale applies: Senior Tutor and Lecturer (Teaching and Administration Only) 2.01 ($79,068p.a.) - 2.02,( $82,657p.a.) - full time equivalent.
