Legal Entity Controller, Nordics

OUR ROLE

We are looking for a Legal Entity Controller to join our finance team and take ownership of financial accounting and reporting for our Nordic legal entities. In this role, you will ensure that accounting activities are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time, while supporting continuous improvement in financial processes.

You will collaborate with a wide network of colleagues across finance, tax, treasury, and legal, contributing to high-quality financial reporting and compliance in a dynamic, international environment.

This position is based in Espoo, Finland and reports to Senior Manager, Finance to Manage Fiskars. The role is full-time and follows a hybrid working model (2 days/week).

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS

Responsibilities:

You will play a key role within the Finance Services team, working closely with business finance, group financial controlling, and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance across Nordic entities.

  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for Nordic legal entities.

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with international and local accounting standards.

  • Prepare and coordinate statutory reporting, including financial statements, tax, and VAT reporting.

  • Collaborate with external auditors and authorities on audits and compliance matters.

  • Oversee balance sheet, cash flow, and profit and loss integrity for assigned entities.

  • Act as a key contact for legal entity-related financial topics.

  • Support development and improvement of accounting processes and reporting practices.

  • Contribute to transfer pricing and tax-related reporting in collaboration with global teams.

WHO YOU ARE

Experience:

You bring a structured and analytical approach, combined with strong collaboration skills and a proactive mindset. You enjoy working in a fast-paced, international environment and are motivated to improve processes and deliver high-quality results.

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Several years of experience in financial controlling or accounting.

  • Knowledge of international and local accounting principles.

  • Experience with statutory reporting, audits, and tax-related processes.

  • Understanding of accounting processes, internal controls, and financial systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working with financial systems and standard office tools.

  • Fluent in English; Nordic language skills are considered an advantage.
