Our Milan office is currently recruiting for a Legal Trainee, Corporate, M&A and Securities. The Team
Italy is a core part of our European platform. Our Milan office has been a leader in the Italian legal market since 2000. Our team in Milan, comprised of around 35 lawyers, including 8 partners, offers domestic and international clients a wide range of legal services. We are very active in assisting international clients doing business in Italy and in advising Italian clients on large energy and infrastructure projects around the world. Our lawyers in Italy are well known for their pragmatic, commercial and business-oriented style, as well as specific industry knowledge.
The Role
An opportunity for a graduate in Law to join our Corporate and M&A team in Milan. - Our global team of lawyers advises many of the world’s leading insurers and reinsurers on their most significant corporate, regulatory and transactional matters as well as on complex claims, class actions, disputes and investigations.
Ideally the candidate, graduated in Law in Italy, would have some first experience gained during a stage in an international law firm. He/she will work in a team specialized in corporate and regulatory advising for insurance and financial services clients and in advising on M&A and on general corporate and commercial issues. The candidate will be involved in the everyday business; among other tasks the job includes research work, reviewing commercial agreements, drafting pre-contractual documents, writing memoranda assisting with presentations, publications and business development related initiatives.
Skills and Experience Required
- Graduated in Law in Italy
- Fluent in English
- Passion for client service
- Excellence problem solving, analytical, technical and drafting skills.
- Interest in M&A transactions, corporate and commercial issues.
