Leisure Club Assistant – Energize Fitness & Leisure

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Leisure Club Assistant in the Galmont Hotel.

Energize Fitness & Leisure is a leading fitness facility based in heart of Galway, we cater to the hotels 274 bedroom guests, and our ever-growing Members, facilities include Precor cardio equipment. A variety of weight equipment Additionally, the leisure centre features 18-metre swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and a steam room and outdoor hot tub

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Energize Management Team, the Leisure Club Assistant will assist to provide a safe and efficient environment for club users members & hotel guests.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Act as first point of contact for all members, dealing with queries in person, by phone/email.

· Ensure the smooth running of the club during opening hours.

· Administer membership enquiries and complete the sale with the customer.

· To ensure that Energize is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and that cleaning schedules are implemented and records kept

· To observe all safety procedures and rules

· Assist the Club Management team in the marketing/upselling of the club.

· Teach classes and fitness assessment.

Requirements:

· Good level of spoken English and excellent communication skills.

· Flexibility in working hours (Monday-Sunday) as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends.

· Pool Life guard certification and First Aid is desirable but training will be provided if needed

· Fitness Instructor qualification is essential.

· Ability to work as part of a team, and a desire to progress in your career.
